Amazon.com Product Description Outfitted with Sonic Impact's world-renowned T-amp technology, the T24 portable iPod speaker system makes a handy addition to your home audio arsenal. The system comes with a built-in docking station that amplifies and charges any iPod with a 30-pin dock connector, including the iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod photo, iPod video, iPod mini, and iPod nano. Once your iPod is situated inside the docking station (the unit an adapter sleeve for each "dockable" iPod model), you can listen to your favorite playlists, skip forward or back, repeat tracks, or adjust the volume with ease. Plus, the T24 offers a 3.5 mm auxiliary input that connects to older iPods, MP3 players, and any other audio device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The T24's high-end sound stems from the Class T amplifier, which employs both digital and analog signal processing to maximize all frequencies, and the pair of 3-inch, full- range neodymium magnetic drivers, which combine to produce a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Audiophiles will also rejoice in such specifications as a total harmony dissonance below 1.5 percent, a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 75 dB, and a power output of 15 watts per channel. Other details include a TV/video line out that connects to a TV or monitor (ideal for the iPod video) and a remote control that can adjust the volume, skip and replay tracks, and power the system on or off. The T24 measures 12 by 6 by 6 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box Sonic T24 system, remote control, AC adapter, 3.5 mm stereo cable, quick connect instructions, user's manual.

Good sound but a bit flaky July 18, 2010 P. Costa (Boston, MA, USA) I bought this sound dock based on the good reviews of its sound. It definitely delivers on that score -- good bass, good high tones -- all for a lot less money than the Bose system. Unfortunately, I've found that it's a little flaky working my iPod touch. There seems to be a glitch in the communication between the dock and the touch, such that I frequently have to undock the touch in order to get the system to wake up and start playing the audio. This may be Apple's fault, but it definitely puts a dent in my experience of the dock.
FANTASTIC SOUND! February 21, 2010 J. Chandler (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this as a gift for my husband. He really wanted a Bose, but we couldn't afford one. I chose this product based on people's reviews, and I have to say he couldn't be happier! We were both blown away by the premium sound quality that came out of it! It definately sounds like a more expensive piece of equipment. My husband has actually been telling everyone about it, and his friend is looking to purchase the same one.
Great, few exceptions December 7, 2009 Sean Grider (Granite City, Il) GREAT sound. Perfect sound! When your 80 some year old grandmother hears them and can tell the difference between this and a CD, its great. The only drawback I can see right now is that it doesnt charge the latest Ipod Nano. Yeah, sucks. Plays it, doesnt charge it. The other drawback is that you have about a thirty degree window to use the remote. If youre out of that window, dont bother with the remote. Might as well not even have it. It plays really well, speakers have a lot of power. Even up almost to where I cant stand it, the distortion was minimal. I was really impressed. If you can handle a small remote usage window, and can live without your last gen Ipod getting charged, this is the way to go.
Sonic Impact vs Bose AcousitcWave October 11, 2009 flapjack321 (San Diego, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a Bose AcousticWave that I used a splitter to connect my Ipod to and then compared it against this product. Suprisingly, I actually like the Sonic Impact better. The base was deeper, the treble was a little more crisp. It could in part be because the RCA jacks into the Bose are not as good as the Ipod interface in the Sonic Impact but regardless it sounded better. The only drawback is you have to use the remote to power on the machine. When first pluged in the Ipod is was not secured in very well forcing me to hold it with my index finger while I worked the menu's on the Ipod with my thumb. Then I tried just wedging the extra adapter behind the Ipod and it worked perfectly to stablilize it. The sound quality is truly amazing. It's heavier than I expected and is very sturdy. A great value.
Great Sound Cannot Charge Your Nano June 15, 2009 David S. Hitzke (Chicago) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The size is great and the sound is awesome - But you cannot charge your Nano on it even though it says you can. It give s a not programmed to charge message. Big bummer since I bought for both playing and charing. To late now I guess.
